Position and surroundings
The hotel-residence is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and situated on the south coast of Sardinia about 3 km from the sea and nearby the marina of Teulada. The capital of the island, Cagliari, is at 75 km and reachable in car on a panoramic coast road in 90 minutes.
The accommodation with its 11 quest rooms and 9 small villas for up to 5 persons is an ideal starting point to explore the beauties of the south coast: beautiful sandy beaches and a clear emerald sea, which invites to all types of water sports. Some beaches we recommend are the one of Teulada, Porto Pino with its marvelous sandy dunes and Chia and Cala Cipollo on the way to Cagliari.
Places to go are the islands of San Pietro and Sant Antioco. Especially the last one is rich at archeological sites. Who is interested in culture can also visit the small town of Pula, about 30 km away from Teulada, with the ruins of the ancient town of Nora situated directly on the sea.
Other higlights are the Grotto of Is Zudas nearby Santadi (at a distance of 20 km) and especially for children the small zoo Parco degli Angeli about 1 km from Giba with wild pigs, Sardinian donkeys and horses, lamas, emus, zebras, deers and much more animals.
Accommodation
The hotel-residence has 11 double rooms and 9 small villas which can host up to 5 people.
The rooms are located in the buildings arranged around the central swimming pool and all rooms are furnished in the typical Sardinian style and have private bathroom with shower.
The small villas located on a slope apart from the main buildings have two sleeping rooms (each one with two single beds which can be combined), one bathroom with shower, one living room with bed sofa for one person and a small kitchen. The veranda is equipped with garden furniture.
The central swimming pool with deck chairs and sunshades invites to relaxing stays. The bar nearby offers small snacks, ice cream and drinks.
The guests of the Sos Ventos can choose between an accommodation in half-board or in B&B. It is possible to stay in full-board paying a supplement.
