The community of Badesi with its 2.000 inhabitants is located on the north coast of Sardinia in front of the Gulf of Asinara and belongs to the province Olbia-Tempio. The beautiful and long beach of Li Junchi with its white sandy dunes is approx. 7 km away.

A panoramic coast road leads to the town of Castelsardo about 20 km away. Olbia with its airport and harbour is located 75 km to the east and Porto Torres about 50 km to the west.
