Position and surroundings
The small and comfortable furnished house is situated in the historical centre of the little town of Orosei in the north-east of Sardinia. The house itself is a traditionell one and was recently totally renovated.
Orosei is embedded in a green and fertile zone and dominated by the mountain Monte Tuttavista. The centre of the village is characterized by narrow lines, historic houses and a sunny square with some bars. Restaurants, local handicraft business, shops and supermarkets complete the service.
Two kilometers from here there is the coast of Orosei which one can reach also by a cycle track. Nearby, there are some of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia: Osala, Su Barone and Su Petrosu, Cala Liberotto, Sa Curcurica, Cala Ginepro, the natural park Biderrosa, Berchida beaches and the dunes of Capo Comino.
Don’t miss the opportunity of a boat excursion to the Orosei Gulf stopping at the Grotta del Bue Marino (Sea Ox Cave), Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu, Cala Goloritzé, and at Tavolara Isle.
In the massif of the Gennargentu worth a visit are the Ispinigoli caves. And last but not least for trekking-fans: the Gorropu is the widest canyon in Europe.
Accommodation
The house on the ground floor for max. 3 persons is furnished comfortable and in a simple but elegant way.
The front door gives access to a small patio with table and seats and from here one accede the flat. The vestibule is equipped with the kitchenette and the private bathroom has a shower.
The ample living room is tiled with Terracotta and has place enough for a table with seats and a full-size bed. A traditionell wooden trunk and niches decorated with love to detail complete the furniture.
A third person can use the fold-out puffy in the living room as a bed.
