Position and surroundings
The Antico Rifugio is an ancient building completely restored according to the tradition of the old Sardinian manors. The whole building, thanks to its historic and artistic value, is protected by the Italian Ministry of Culture. In the house there are many antiques and a small museum that collects items used in the ancient times by the Sardinians shepherds and farmers.

Every detail of the Antico Rifugio is conceived to make guests stay an unique experience: the charming and warm ambience, the perfume of the ancient wood and of the plants in the courtyard in the core of the building.

The Antico Rifugio makes part of a small community in the region of the Sarrabus-Gerrei on the east coast of Sardinia and an few minutes by walk from all the main services and shops. The Sarrabus-Gerrei area is characterized by wonderful coasts, the pristine nature, the archeological, nuraghic sites and for the interesting food and wine traditions.

The Bed & Breakfast is approx. 11 kilometers away from the beautiful sea of Porto Corallo. It takes about 15 minutes by car along comfortable and sliding roads.

Nearby in Villasalto it is possible to taste the extraordinary cuisine of Paolo Perella in his restaurant. The Chef prepares ancient Sardinian recipes with his personal and original touch only with the best ingredients.

Accommodation
The rooms of the Antico Rifugio are amply and comfortable. Every room is furnished in a different way and all have a private bathroom with shower and air conditioning.

There is also a Junior Suite room with a small sitting room and a bathroom with bathtub.

A classic italian breakfast is served every day in the garden, in the courtyard or in the breakfast room (according to the season).

In the gorgeous inner courtyard is a nice garden with plants and flowers. From the garden a small path leads to the open gallery with the wood oven and the small museum.
