Book your holiday in Sardinia with confidence — we’ve got all the answers to your questions!
Who is Sardinia Natour?
We are a specialist tour operator for Sardinia. In addition to offering a wide range of holiday accommodation, we also provide various tours and excursions (trekking, cycling, cultural tours, round trips, etc.), group tours, yacht charters and bicycle hire.
You can also book ferries to and from Sardinia and car hire on the island through Sardinia Natour’s website with a local provider.
In addition to German and Italian, our team also speaks English and French. Thanks to their language skills, our staff can facilitate communication between customers and suppliers in any situation.
Information about Sardinia
Sardinia Natour publishes a wealth of information about the holiday island of Sardinia on its website. This covers the island in general, popular destinations and how to get there.
The news section also regularly reports on current events and provides restaurant and excursion recommendations. Another page provides information about the culinary highlights of Sardinian cuisine and presents typical local recipes.
Will I receive personal advice?
Your enquiry will be handled individually by a member of our team, who will provide expert advice via email or telephone. We do not use AI assistants for consultations.
ONLINE CATALOGUE
Can you send me your catalogue?
You can view all Sardinia Nature offers in the online catalogue. Unfortunately, we are unable to send you a catalogue by post.
Are your hotel bookings more expensive than booking directly?
The prices for hotels, apartment complexes, yacht charters and car rentals correspond to the official prices on site. In some cases, booking through us may be cheaper due to special offers negotiated just for us.
ENQUIRIES – AVAILABILITY – PRICES
How can I find out if accommodation is available to book?
You will find a wide range of accommodation options in our catalogue. Once you have entered your travel dates and the number of people, as well as the type of accommodation if applicable, there are two ways to book.
Direct booking: You will see a list in which some accommodation is marked as disponibile or x bookable. These can be booked directly. After selecting your accommodation and the available category, click the green BOOK NOW button and follow the instructions to confirm your booking. Please check all the details on the booking confirmation carefully, and contact us if you have any questions.
On request: If an accommodation is marked as Bookable on request, you can send us an enquiry and we will check the current availability. We will respond in any case, either with an offer for the selected accommodation or an alternative.
Is my enquiry binding?
No, your enquiry about availability, prices, and similar matters is always non-binding and free of charge.
Does the age of the children matter?
Please state the number and age of the children at the start of your trip in your enquiry. Some accommodation, especially hotels and B&Bs, offers special conditions depending on the age of the children and for families.
Can I bring my dog or cat with me?
Provided the landlord allows it, you can of course bring your pet with you for an additional final cleaning charge. As a rule, pets must be declared when booking and you must obtain the relevant permission from Sardinia Natour.
PAYMENT METHODS
How do I pay?
You can pay the deposit by bank transfer or credit card when booking. Please note that any fees incurred for bank transfers or credit card payments are the responsibility of the customer.
Depending on the type of accommodation, payment of the balance is due between 45 and 30 days before the arrival date.

AFTER BOOKING
Once your booking is complete, we will, of course, continue to provide you with a personalised service. We are available to answer your questions and help with special requests, car rental offers, and ferry and flight bookings.
When will I receive my travel documents?
Once the booking is complete (finalised upon payment of the remaining balance), you will receive a travel document by email containing all the arrival and reception details for your stay. A copy of the voucher has also been sent to your local contact person. As well as your customer details, the voucher contains details of all the services you have booked, any special arrangements, extras and directions to your accommodation.
TRAVEL CANCELLATION
What costs are incurred if I cancel my trip?
The cancellation conditions are listed in the accommodation description under ‘Info’ and will also be clearly communicated to you in an email when you make a booking or request a quote.
In addition to the standard cancellation conditions, which allow for a partial refund, some accommodation providers also offer non-refundable or prepaid rates. These cheaper rates must be paid in full at the time of booking and are not refundable in the event of cancellation.
Do you offer travel cancellation insurance?
Our agency offers travel insurance from Europ Assistance.
Can someone else take the trip for me? How much does it cost to change my booking?
If you are unable to take the trip, you can find a replacement and notify Sardinia Natour well before the start of the trip or rental period. This person will then assume your rights and obligations under the travel contract.
Sardinia Natour reserves the right to reject a person if they do not meet the trip’s specific requirements, if it is not possible to include them for organisational reasons, or if their participation would contravene legal regulations or official orders. Both the replacement person entering into the contract and the original customer are liable to Sardinia Natour for the total price and all additional costs incurred by the replacement person’s entry into the contract.
Changes to the planned trip (e.g. travel dates, number of people, fellow travellers’ names, etc.) are generally possible up to 31 days before arrival, but only on request and subject to availability. In addition to any additional costs incurred and charged by the service providers, a processing fee of at least 30 Euro will be charged.
DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, DIFFERENT CUSTOMS: IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACCOMMODATION
We select our accommodation with care, taking into account local character, be it the location of the property, furnishings or proximity to the sea or organic farming. As our catalogue is frequently updated and varies according to the seasons, only part of our range is often visible. If you cannot find a suitable property, please give us a call or send us an email. We will try to find the right one for you!
Please note that the accommodation does not belong to Sardinia Natour, but to private individuals who are responsible for the property’s description, furnishings and cleanliness. We regularly visit the properties we offer to ensure that they are of the standard described – and that they remain so. If you find that something is not as described, please let us know. Your opinion is important to us!
Of course, the standard of the properties may not always match what you are used to at home. While the kitchens are equipped with the essentials, if you value excellent, sharp kitchen knives or very special wine glasses, for example, you will need to bring these with you. In some cases, landlords provide tea towels, but it is best to bring your own from home just in case. The same usually applies to toilet paper, washing-up liquid, and other cleaning products.
Even if a property is described as being in a quiet location, we cannot guarantee that there won’t be construction work on neighbouring properties or parties nearby. Stray dogs and barking dogs at night are part of life in the countryside and at the beach here. We also have no influence over algae pollution.
Upon arrival, please pay the deposit noted in the booking documents. This deposit serves as security in case anything in the property is damaged, for example. As a rule, the landlord will refund this upon the proper handover of the property before your departure.
Our descriptions indicate whether bed linen and towels are provided or can be hired for a fee. If you require cots, please ask us; landlords often offer these and other items as part of their rental service.
Please also bear in mind that bedding is different in Italy: double beds usually have one large duvet for both people, rather than separate duvets.
Even if a holiday property is offered with final cleaning included, basic cleaning should always be carried out by the tenant. This includes cleaning the kitchenette, washing and putting away the dishes, disposing of food and rubbish, and sweeping all rooms.
Even if pets are allowed in some accommodation, this does not automatically mean that they can move freely around a holiday complex. For example, access to the pool area, green spaces or restaurant may not be permitted. If you are bringing your pet to a holiday home or flat, please check the garden before you leave and remove any ‘leftovers’.
One final request: water is particularly scarce in Sardinia during the summer months. Therefore, please use water sparingly. Due to the water shortage, there is an increased risk of fire, of course. Please therefore be careful when handling open flames, cigarettes, etc.
Please always remember that, even though you are on holiday, everyday life in your surroundings continues, with all its advantages and disadvantages. The landlords are basically responsible for the accommodation and are also your first point of contact! We are, of course, always available to offer advice and assistance in case of emergency.
