We recommend it:
The B&B Domu Antiga is ideal to discover an authentic Sardinia and to enjoy the hearty hospitality. Located near the plateau called Giarra di Gesturi and the Nuraghe Su Nuraxi, we also recommend it for holidays with outdoor activities like trekkng and cycling.
The position of the B&B Domu Antiga
Gergei is a small village in the so-called Sarcidano region and is about 65 km north of the capital Cagliari.
The B&B is located in the characteristic historical center in a stone house with an inner courtyard from the early 19th century, which has been lovingly restored to maintain its authenticity.
A stay in this charming accommodation gives you an impression about the real Sardinia, with its deply rooted traditions, its beautiful handicraft, and its hospitality.
On request, you can also have typical Sardinian dishes for dinner or prepare them yourself in a enjoyable
cooking class.
The B&B Domu Antiga
In the low season, breakfast is served in the beautiful fireplace room, in summer and when the weather is nice outside, under the pergola in the courtyard.
Guests can stay in the garden or in the comon room.
The guest rooms
The B&B has four individually furnished double rooms with private bathrooms.
All rooms are on the 1st floor.
Most of the furniture in the rooms is original and has been lovingly restored.
The beds have a headboard from the old Orbace (a type of wool characteristic of all Sardinia), the bedspreads and carpets are fine Sardinian handicrafts.
