The city of Nuoro located in the eastern part of Sardinia, characterized by a lively cultural life, invites to long walks in the historic district. We recommend a visit to the Museum Deledda, the birthplace of the eponymous writer and Nobel Prize winner Grazia Deledda. At the end of August the fiest Sagra del Redentore takes place. A procession in traditional costumes, from the city center to the Ortobene, where the Statue of the Savior rises at an altitude of 1000 meters.
