Discover Sardinia on a road trip with a car, may it be yours or a hired car. Explore the island’s most beautiful coastal towns, as well as authentic villages, far from the tourist trails. Immerse yourself in the true essence of Sardinia, from its lively traditions and authentic flavours to its breathtaking landscapes.

Sardinia is much more than just a travel destination: it’s a fascinating holiday island where untouched nature, diverse landscapes, living traditions, and authentic places blend into an unforgettable travel experience. Our travel ideas are aimed at anyone who wants to experience Sardinia in all its diversity, between the sea and the mountains – through culinary events, cultural excursions, relaxing moments, and cozy stays in traditional farmhouses, quaint B&Bs, and, for those seeking maximum comfort, of course, in elegant and stylish hotels.

Travel through culture and tradition

From the mysterious nuraghi in the hinterland, silent witnesses of an ancient civilization, to the charming historic centers of places like Bosa, Castelsardo, Alghero, Cagliari, or Orgosolo – every stop on your journey offers the opportunity to discover the soul of the island. Our tours include visits of museums and archaeological sites, and Romanesque churches, as well as encounters with local artisans who proudly share ancient techniques such as weaving, ceramics, and Sardinian knife-making.

Authentic Gastronomic Experiences

Sardinia is a paradise for foodies. On our culinary tours, you can explore local markets, participate in traditional cooking classes, and savor the island’s finest dishes: culurgiones (stuffed pasta), roasted porceddu (roasted suckling pig), cheeses such as Pecorino Sardo DOP (Pecorino Sardo DOP), Pane Carasau (Carasau bread), and, of course, a selection of fine wines such as Cannonau and Vermentino. Wine tastings, traditional dinners at farmhouses, and experiences with local families are also available, allowing you to experience true Sardinian hospitality.

Nature and Relaxation Stays

To complete your experience, we offer a selection of carefully selected accommodations: agriturismi surrounded by nature, where you’ll wake up to the sound of birdsong and a breakfast made with fresh farm produce; B&Bs in old stone houses with traditional furnishings and a family atmosphere; or, for those seeking a more exclusive vacation, boutique hotels and charming resorts where every detail is designed for relaxation and elegance.

During your trip, discover

  • The Emerald Coast and the Gulf of Orosei with their dream beaches and crystal-clear waters
  • The hinterland of Barbagia with its rich pastoral traditions and breathtaking mountain panoramas
  • Alghero and the Riviera del Corallo, where Catalan culture meets Sardinian culture
  • Cagliari, Nuoro, Sassari, and Oristano – cities rich in history, art, and culture
  • Traditional events such as the Sartiglia, the Cavalcata Sarda, or the Fuochi di Sant’Antonio
  • Local food festivals where you can enjoy typical dishes prepared according to tradition

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do I need a car for the round trips?
We have organised this tour by car, as many interesting places in Sardinia are not yet accessible by public transport. You can use your own car or a hire car. We are also happy to organise ferry tickets for you or send you non-binding hire car offers if you are travelling by plane.

Do I need a car for the weekends?
Not necessarily. It depends on where you arrive and which city you want to explore. If you arrive in Cagliari or Alghero, there is a lot to see in these cities, and public transport also works well. Of course, we also offer transfers to and from the airport and a hire car if you prefer. For Bosa or Olbia – Emerald Coast, on the other hand, a car or hire car is also recommended, as this allows you to see more of the surrounding area.

Are there fixed travel dates for the tour?
We are happy to organise this tour according to your wishes, i.e. according to your travel dates. In general, accommodation is cheaper in spring and autumn and more expensive in the summer months from mid-June to the end of August/mid-September, the high season in Sardinia.

How many people can participate?
We recommend our tours for 2 to 4 people, as this makes travelling by car comfortable and relaxed. For 4 adults, we recommend 2 double rooms. If you are travelling as a family, we will be happy to check the availability of family rooms. There is no limit for weekends.

What is included in the price?
The prices quoted are starting prices and may vary depending on the season or your choice of room (higher category). The price includes accommodation in a double room with breakfast and travel insurance for the duration of the trip. Tourist tax is payable on site. Where explicitly mentioned, some tours and weekends also include activities, but these can be adapted to your wishes.

What additional services are offered?
On request and at an additional cost, we offer room upgrades, dinner at the accommodation, car hire, ferry tickets to Sardinia (if you are travelling with your own car) and excursions and activities that are not included in the price (e.g. wine tastings, cooking classes, boat trips, etc.).

How does the trip or short stay work?
Before your arrival, you will receive detailed information from us, including a roadmap for round trips and information on sights and excursion tips in the area around your accommodation. Of course, we are available by telephone at any time before and during your trip.
