In a breathtaking location and directly by the sea, the charming Darena vacation rental is located on the island of La Maddalena in northern Sardinia, just a few steps from the Monte d'A Rena beach. With 3 bedrooms it is perfect for two families with children or two couples.
The position
The modern apartments Darena, furnished with attention to detail, are located directly on the Monti d'A Rena beach, on the island of La Maddalena in northern Sardinia.Thanks to its unique location, they offer a beautiful sea view.
There are other beautiful beaches nearby, such as Spiaggia del Morto and Cardellino Beach.
In summer there is a small supermarket in the area.
The main location, called also La Maddalena, is approx. 5 km south and offers a shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and much more basic services.
The port of La Maddalena is connected to that of Palau by daily ferries.
La Maddalena is the largest island in the archipelago's national park and is connected to the island of Caprera (where Garibaldi lived for 26 years) through the Passo della Moneta, which is accessible by car; here is the museum dedicated to Garibaldi.
The accommodation
Darena 1
The apartment with an area of approx. 130 square meters is part of a two-family house and is on the ground floor.The decor is chic, modern and fresh in a maritime style with mainyl white and blue colors and with very original decorations.
On one level, the four-room apartment comprises one 1 spacious living room with sofas in front of the fireplace, a dining area and a modern kitchenette, 3 bedrooms (two with queen size beds and one with twin beds) and 2 bathrooms with shower, one of them ensuite.
Outside there is a partially covered veranda with table and chairs and sea view and a small garden with some deck chairs for sunbathing: here you can enjoy the amazing beach view.
Darena 2
The property borders directly on the sea and it is possible to walk down to a small, hidden beach through a private gate.The property overlooks the island of Barettini and on clear days you can even see Corsica from here.
Inside, the spacious four-room flat consists of a living room with dining area and large sofa corner, a kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one with double beds,one with twin beds, and one with bunk bed and 3rd bed) and 2 bathrooms.
