The position
Perla di Scivu with sea view is located in a fascinating enviroment of the south-west of Sardinia (which makes part of the WWF park oasi di Scivu), near the old mining community of Buggerru.The villa is situated on a hill and surrounded by a typical Mediterranean vegetation, it is the right place for relaxing holidays amid an unspoilt nature.
This region is a still unknown area with many places off the beaten track and therefore far away of mass tourism.
At only 20 min. by car from Portixeddu and reachable via a 8 km gravel,sandy road.
Nearby at only 10 minutes by car you have the amazingly stunning sandy beach of Scivu, divided by a small reef.
Other recommended beaches are Portixeddu, Porto Paglia, Cala Domestica and the wide dunes of Piscinas.

The largely unknown and authentic Southwest offers long sandy beaches and steep cliffs, vast sand dunes, abandoned mines and a wild-austere landscape.We recommend to visit the long sandy beaches of San Nicolao and Porto Paglia in Gonnesa and to follow the coastal road of Portxeddu to Gonnesa while driving one can admire the characteristic rocks of Pan di Zucchero in the sea and to visit the offshore island of San Pietro (by ferry) and Sant Antioco (by car via a causeway) .
