The position

The elegant Cascioni Eco Retreat is an eco sustainable 5-star hotel resort in northern Sardinia, situated between Arzachena and the famous Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast).
Embedded in a beautiful and Mediterranean natural park with olive trees, fruit trees, aromatic herbs and a well-tended fruit and vegetable garden, the hotel with its luxurious suites, each with a private pool, is located in a quiet position about 7 km from the sea.
Olbia with ist airport is only 25 km away.

The Cascioni Eco Retreat Hotel

This charming 5-star hotel is the result of a careful restoration and reinterpretation of a traditional Gallura property. Particular emphasis was placed on sustainability and the use of natural and, above all, local building materials during the renovation.
The main building houses the reception, the restaurant Ulia and, near to the shared swimming pool, the lounge bar.

There is also an extremely interesting wine cellar (open for tastings), a wellness center with heated pool and sauna, massages and natural beauty treatments, a common room with a fireplace and a small library.

The suites

Not far away from the main building and situated in separate bungalows are the 15 suites of the categories Deluxe and Prestige. Each suite has its own small private pool with heated water in the low season and an elegantly furnished outdoor area.
Inside there is a living room, a comfortable, separate bedroom and a modern bathroom with floor shower. The suites are equipped with natural materials such as oak, cork and light stone, combined with Sardinian carpets and high-quality textiles made of cotton and linen.

Cascioni Country Villa

This idyllic villa is situated in a 1.5-hectare park with woods and granite boulders in the Gallura region, near the village of San Pantaleo and 4 km from the Cascioni Eco Retreat.

The 350-square-meter country villa offers five double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, a single bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (service room), a living area with sofas and a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and—for active vacationers—a fitness room.

Outdoors, you'll find a 50-square-meter swimming pool with a sun terrace and loungers, as well as a hot tub and a sauna for 2 people nestled among trees and rocks.

The harmony of taste

Gallura as a Sardinian region offers a simple and light cuisine, and the chefs at the Cascioni Eco Retreat's restaurant create delicious and varied dishes using the best local ingredients, some of which are grown directly on the grounds of the Eco Retreat.

There is, for example, the large vegetable garden, the chickens on the edge of the property and a variety of olives, which are grown naturally andare cold-pressed in autumn after the hearvest: the result is a fragrant virgin olive oil, which is of course also used in the preparation of the dishes.

The orchard of the property, on the other hand, is the source for the seasonal fresh fruit and the delicious jams, which are served for breakfast or with certain types of cheese.

In the wine cellar, guests can taste the best Sardinian wines, be it the fresh white wine Vermentino di Gallura, the soft Cagnulari red wine or the famous red wine Cannonau, which go perfectly with Sardinian pecorino and salami with the crispy Carasau bread.
