The position

Valle dell’Erica is located right opposite the renowned National Park of La Maddalena and the southern islands of Corsica, 12 km from S.Teresa Gallura.

The Resort and its property is surrounded by 1400 metres of unspoilt coastline and without buildings around: It is a real oasis of relaxation and pleasure for couples and families.

The Resort Valle dell’Erica is 55 km from Olbia, and about 100 km from Porto Torres.

The hotel resort

The Resort Valle dell’ Erica is composed of two hotels, Hotel Erica and Hotel La Licciola, set in a 28 hectares park in a unique and unrepeatable position.

The Resort offers fine and luxurious rooms; 4 enchanting swimming pools; 7 restaurants; 7 bars, one of which is a swim-up bar.

Furthermore, inside the Hotel La Licciola, the “Exclusive” area, a more reserved area with its own freshwater swimming pool for guests over 6 years old.

Check in within 3.30 pm; check out by 11.00 am on departure day.

The rooms

All rooms are furnished in Mediterranean style and decorated with local handicraft items and have equipped verandas, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, air conditioning, telephone, TV, safe, minibar, bathrobes for adults and beach towels.

• Suite Erica Executive sea view: bedroom with spectacular view over the beach of Licciola, equipped with double bed, wide lounge area (separable with a sliding door) with 2 pull-out sofa bed for 4 persons;
• Giglio/Orchidea: 6 bedrooms in the Thalasso & SPA Centre (some with bathtub + shower in the bathroom) with beautiful verandas, especially built to create a relaxing atmosphere and the privilege to have direct access to the Thalasso Centre (during opening hours);
• President Spargi sea view: prestigious room with private pool and large veranda with a superb 180° view overlooking the Archipelago of La Maddalena. Double bed king size (twin beds on request only), lounge area (open plan) with table and two built in sofa beds + possibility of cot. Bathroom with hydro-massage bathtub, bed for treatments and second bathroom. (63 sqm + 30 sqm veranda).

• Suite Arcipelago sea view: large bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge (separable with a sliding door) with built in sofa bed and one single sofa bed + possibility of cot, bathroom; large roofed veranda with lounge and table;
• Suite Arcipelago sea view with pool: (57 sqm + 24 sqm veranda + garden) exclusive Suite enriched with private swimming pool and wooden sun deck with spectacular view on the International Park of the Straits of Bonifacio. Large bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge separable with a carved wooden sliding door. The brightly coloured living room has two built in sofa beds + possibility of cot. Two elegant bathrooms. Roofed veranda with lounge and table;
• President Razzoli sea view: (85 sqm + 25 sqm veranda) exclusive President with private swimming pool, equipped wooden sun deck and stunning view on the islands, composed of bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge area (open plan and separable with a sliding door) with two single sofa beds + possibility of cot, a bathroom and large roofed panoramic veranda equipped with lounge and table;
• Imperial Suite sea view: 154 sqm split over two interconnecting floors (possibility of two independent accesses), with private swimming pool, equipped with wooden sun deck and stunning view on the islands. Composed on each floor with: bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge area (open plan and separable with a sliding door) with two beds (two single sofa beds on the first floor and a built in single sofa bed + a single sofa bed on the ground floor) + possibility of cot, a bathroom, large veranda equipped with lounge and table.
• Arcipelago Penthouse Suite: the three wide and comfortable verandas, one for each bedroom, overlook the sea with a breathtaking view of the Archipelago of La Maddalena and the International Marine Park of the Strait of Bonifacio. The bright and colourful living room can accommodate two more beddings. The suite, in addition to the panoramic veranda where is possible to enjoy lunch with sea view in total tranquility, has a luxurious private pool overlooking the Strait of Bonifacio and the Archipelago, making it a perfect combination of luxury and wild and unspoiled nature.The suite has a total size of about 200 sqm and about 100 sqm in terms of verandas, to which is added the pool and solarium area.

 

The “Exclusive” area

Reserved for guests over 6 years old, is situated on the first floor with a panoramic view, private swimming pool and all rooms with sea view.
The following typologies are available:
 

• Superior Exclusive sea view: bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only);
• Junior Suite Exclusive sea view: bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge area (open plan) with sofa bed;
• Junior Suite Family Exclusive sea view: loft with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge area (open plan) downstairs and twin beds upstairs.

Sea & beaches

The Resort is surrounded by gorgeous bays and a big wonderful public beach provided with a wide equipped area reserved for Resort guests with beach bar and free service of parasols, sun beds, showers, toilets, dressing room and lifeguard.

Directly from the Resort, boat departures for excursions to the islands of the Archipelago of La Maddalena, located just in front of the Resort, and to the islands of Southern Corsica.

Swimming pools

4 swimming pools in front of the Archipelago (apart from those at the Thalasso & SPA Centre): 3 with seawater, one of them suitable for children and one for adults in Hotel Erica, one with three large pools, connected with each other by waterfalls among natural rocks and with a view on the islands in Hotel La Licciola, and another with freshwater in the Exclusive area with a 180° view overlooking the sea.

Thalasso & Spa centre Le Thermae

The enchanting Thalasso & SPA Centre “Le Thermae” located in a perfect natural setting of granite rocks, covers an area of approximately 1600 sqm, the Centre consists of:
 

• four seawater outdoor multi-function Thalasso pools at different temperature for the Thalassotherapy circuit;
• 15 elegant and luminous booths for Thalassotherapy treatments, beauty treatments and massages;
• Turkish bath, sauna, relax area, cardio fitness room and reception.

Thalassotherapy consists of using the essential elements found in marine water, which have a marvellous positive effect on the body and on the mind with an anti-stress result. For the treatments as well as for the Thalasso pools, the Centre uses excellent marine water, thanks to the pureness of the sea environment and to the current of Bocche di Bonifacio.

A health self-certification is required to have treatments and to use the spa facilities.
Available specific programmes for pregnant ladies (some treatments might be excluded).
Access not allowed for minors; 14-year-old and older allowed if accompanied by parents or with a written parental authorization.

Restaurants

Resort Valle dell’Erica offers half board basis including room, breakfast and dinner.
 

Breakfast

• Rich buffet served at the relaxing verandas of our restaurants “Nautilus” and/or “Les Bouches” with amazing panorama on the islands from 7.30 am to 10.30 am.

 

Dinner

Seven possibilities, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm in period A, from 8.00 pm – 10.00 pm in all other periods.
On request at the hotel, guests on HB basis can replace dinner with Brunch Mediterraneo®.

• Elegant buffet and show cooking or on reservation a fine table service for a candle light dinner.
• Restaurant “La Prua” (on reservation and with supplement).
• Available for smokers, a small reserved restaurant area at the restaurant “Nautilus”.
• At the typical Restaurant “Li Ciusoni”, authentic Sardinian cuisine specialities including traditional dishes of Gallura made with local products (on reservation and with supplement).
• Exclusive dinners directly on the beach at the restaurant “Li Zini” by the sea, with barbecue of shellfish and fresh fish of the day (on reservation and with supplement; opening subject to weather conditions).
• Restaurant pizzeria at the Mini Club with a wooden fire oven and grill, dedicated to children.

 

Lunch

Six different and excellent possibilities (the opening of the restaurants and the bars is at the discretion of the Management.)

• Brunch Mediterraneo® from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm: A light buffet with the pleasure of good cookery and pizza cooked in wooden fire oven. The traditional second courses of meat and fish and dessert are not served.
• Guests buying the brunch at the hotel for the whole stay and wishing to go on excursion in Gallura can take advantage of the Brunch Around in one of the several Hotels of the Delphina Group (4/5 star properties) – see price list.
• At the restaurant by the sea “Li Zini”, first courses with seafood specialities and shellfish from a fish tank.
• At the Bar “Nemo” fresh and delicious snacks; at the swim-up bar “Conchiglia” pasta station and sea crudité;
• At the bar “Caracoli” and at the beach bar “Posidonia” various tasty snacks proposals.
• Gluten free meal available (on request when booking).

At guests’ disposal, a free equipped gym area aside from a cardio fitness room (on payment) at the Wellness Centre.
 

Trekking itineraries and nature fitness trail

For adults and children, two amazing trekking itineraries to find out and learn about the Mediterranean maquis: the first one, more inland within the scent of myrtle and junipers and the pink granite; the second one, more external and along the coast to discover the wonderful small bays merged within the green
and the blue of the sea, where guests can practice in the equipped areas.
 

Baby – Mini Club

Free nursery with bottle service equipped with specific facilities (highchairs, pushchairs, sterilizers, bottle warmer, baby phone, changing tables, cots and foodstuff for children).

Baby Club for children from 2 to 3 years old with qualified staff, on payment.
To be accepted to the Baby Club a medical certificate is required, issued no longer than 3 days before arrival.

Free Mini Club from 4 to 9 years old. Both services available 7 days a week from 9.00 am to 11.00 pm.
Children playground area with indoor and outdoor facilities, football five-a-side pitch, mini field hockey, volley, waterpolo, golf and swimming courses.
Creative laboratory to make jewellery with material found in the nature.
Moreover, a swimming pool separated from the main pool, suitable for children with water games.
Restaurant Pizzeria with wooden fire oven and grill dedicated to children, where they can have lunch or dinner with the entertainers (lunch with supplement for young guests who are not on FB basis).
After dinner, entertainments and shows for children so that parents can enjoy their evenings.

Furthermore the following external services: prestigious boat charter as well as sports fishing – including deep water fishing, car rental; windsurf, sailing and kite surf lessons at a famous school in Porto Pollo, “surfers’ heaven”, 15 km away; diving at qualified school in Santa Teresa Gallura (transfer to Porto Pollo
and Santa Teresa Gallura on payment); excursions, transfers.
 

Excursions

- Sea excursions half day and full day to the National Park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena and Corsica (for safety reasons boat excursions are not allowed for children under 3 years old);
- Land excursions to discover the Gallura inland among historical centres, naturalistic landscapes, museums and archaeological sites.
The opening of the hotels and the amenities is at the discretion of the Management.
