Arzachena in brief – travel information and more

The small town of Arzachena in the north of Sardinia has approx. 13.000 inhabitants and makes part of the province of Olbia-Tempio. Olbia with its airport and harbour is about 25 km away. The sea can be reached in some minutes by car.

The coastline of Arzachena has a lenght of 88 km and its famous for its turqoise water and the white sandy beaches and coves. The most famous part of this coastline is the Costa Smeralda with its luxury hotels.

Nearby Arzachena are some interesting archeological spots like the ones of the Nuraghe of  Albucciu and Malcchittu and other prehistorical sites.
