The little community of Baja Sardinia in the north-east of Sardinia with its some hundred inhabitants is located directly on the Gulf of Arzachena in the north of Sardinia and makes part of the Province of Olbia-Tempio. The town of Olbia is about 35 km away and Arzachena 15 km.

The glamorous Costa Smeralda, with its world famous bays and its turquoise sea as well as its tourist centre Port Cervo, is only 7 km away. Especially in July and August there is a lot of hustle and bustle, as some of the Italian (and also international) VIPs spend their holidays here.
