We recommend it:
The villa for up to 16 people is not only suitable for a beach holiday, but also for exploring the southwest of Sardinia. The absolute highlight of this villa is the beautiful pool area: here you can really relax, surrounded by an amazing landscape and sea views.
The position of Villa Golfo del Leone
The elegant and modern furnished Villa Golfo del Leone with a beautiful pool area and sea views is located in the southwest of Sardinia, near the small coastal town of Buggerru.
The nearest beaches are Portixeddu and San Nicolao, but other beautiful beaches can be reached easily by car, like the known Cala Domestica, the beach of Porto Paglia or the dunes of Piscinas (among the tallest in Europe).
There are shopping facilities, bars and restaurant and more services in Fluminimaggiore and in Buggerru. Buggerru offers also a surf school and is known as a hot spot in Sardinia.

Tips for the area
The still largely unknown and authentic southwest offers long sandy beaches and steep cliffs, wide dune landscapes, abandoned mines and a wild and austere landscape.
We recommend to explore the long sandy beaches of San Nicolao and Porto Paglia near Gonnesa, following the coastal road from Portxeddu to Gonnesa, admiring the characteristic rock Pan di Zuccero and visiting the islands of San Pietro (with ferry boat) and Sant Antioco (with car)
