Riola Sardo is a small municipity in the Province of Oristano on the western coast of Sardinia and has about 2.000 inhabitants. The capital of the province, Oristano, is situated at 11 km in the north, and Cagliari, the capital of the island with its airport, is approximately 100 km away.
