Sindia in brief – tourist information and more
Sindia is a small village in the interior of Sardinia between Oristano and Alghero, near the town of Macomer and not far away from Bosa. The influence of Roman culture can be seen on various Roman roads and the remains of two bridges over the Riu Carrabusu e di Oinu. Worth seeing is the Casa Virdis, a 19th-century aristocratic palace, from where you can admire the Nuraghe Virdis, also known as Nurgahe Gianbasile.
