Flights, ferries & more: Get around in Cagliari by bus

The K’ard or Karalis-Card, a discount card for unlimited free or with reduced access to the cultural sites and on the entire public transport network relating to CTM the public transport Company of Cagliari (some busses are directed also to the long and sandy beach of Poetto), is a new and economic way to discover Cagliari, especially for tourists which stay some days in the main town of Sardinia.

Please note (2022): the Karalis card is no more avaialble, but there are other offers for getting around with bus and bike

With the Kard one has free access at the Galleria Comunale d’Arte in Cagliari, the Museo d’Arte Siamese Cardu, the Museo della Cultura Contadina Villa Muscas, the roman amphitheatre, the Museo Diocesano and art centers and cultural sites like the Centro d’Arte e Cultura Exma’, the Centro d’Arte e Cultura Il Lazzaretto, the Centro d’Arte e Cultura Castello di San Michele and the Centro d’Arte e Cultura Ex Vetreria, the tower Torre dell’Elefante, the Grotta della Vipera and the rests of the Roman Villa di Tigellio.

In addition the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari gives a reduction of 10% on one ticket of the current Season (concert or lyric or ballet) and for the other shows, depending on seats available at purchase (only if effected during the period of validity of the kit).

The Karalis Card can be found in every museum, art centers, archeological and monumental sites of the circuit, in the CTM points, and in every info-point, in all the bookshops in Cagliari. At Elmas Airport, in all the railway stations in Cagliari, at the port of Cagliari, in the main hotels and restaurants of the City and along the South Coast of Sardinia, in the car parks, in the travel agencies, in the main kiosks, and in summer in the main beaches of the City.

It is possible to buy the Kard for 1 day (10 Euro), 3 days (15 Euro) and 7 days (20 Euro). The KaralisCard are personal and not transferable, valid only if appropriately completed in all their parts, for an adult and a child less than 12 years. The card is activated by writing on the back of it Name, Surname, Date of access to the first site or where the first transport ticket included in the kit is obliterated.
