With this varied long-distance hike in Sardinia, you will discover the still partly unknown southwest, its breathtaking landscape with wild coasts and long sandy beaches and its past with a multitude of now disused mines and fascinating caves.
You sleep in comfortable and partly family-run 3*** hotels, where you can book on request dinner or eat in a recommended restaurant in the place of the overnight stay.
The advantage of this excellently organized hiking tour without a guide is that your luggage will be transferred from hotel to hotel and, on some hiking routes, you will be brought to the starting point or picked up at the destination and accompanied to the accommodation. So you can fully concentrate on the beautiful hikes!

Program
Day 1 - arrival
Private transfer or independent arrival in Buggerru in the southwest.
Buggerru is an authentic village and offers shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
Briefing of the tour and overnight.
Day 2: Cala Domestica (12 km / 4 h)
From Buggerru, after breakfast, we reach the spectacular Cala Domestica bay, which is considered one of the most beautiful in Sardinia.
The path leads to a limestone plateau overlooking the coast straight to the bay.
Overnight in Buggerru.
Day 3: Capo Pecora (16 km / 5½ h)
After a short transfer to the seaside village of Portixeddu, the path leads to the coastal stretch of Capo Pecora. The landscape here is characterized by sandy beaches and steer cliffs. The hike leads to La Vedetta, a small fortress from World War II: from here you can enjoy a spectacular view of Scivu beach with the Costa Verde in the background.
Overnight in Fluminimaggiore
Day 4: Temple of Antas (14 km / 3½ h)
After breakfast there is a transfer to the temple of Antas.
The hike to the Su Mannau Cave begins at this suggestive Punic-Roman temple.
After a break at the Pubusinu springs, you will return to your accommodation.

Day 5: Fighezia - Sciopadroxiu (9 km / 2 h)
This day is dedicated to Sardinia's mining past.
On old mining paths you reach Ingurtosu, a once flourishing mining village.
Then continue to Naracauli, where you can admire the impressive ruins of the Brassey wash.

Day 6: Piscinas
Today is dedicated to the breathtaking dunes of Piscinas, located directly by the sea.
These sand dunes are among the highest in Europe.

Day 7: Sciopadroxiu - Montevecchio (15 km / 3½ h)
After breakfast, we continue along the paths that the miners used to reach Montevecchio, once the most important Sardinian mining town. Our hike leads through a spectacular Mediterranean and wildly romantic landscape.

- When booking: 30% of the total amount
- The balance is to be paid up to 30 days before arrival.
- For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, the full amount must be paid.
- You can pay by bank transfer or credit card. With a credit card, there is an additional service fee, which we unfortunately cannot cover.
Rebooking and program changes
Rebooking requests can be associated with a service fee of up to 100 euros per person plus additional costs, e.g. in the case of higher room and transfer tariffs at different seasons.
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program with the sole aim of improving the quality of the package or the comfort of the participants.
