The Hotel Residence is located in Porto San Paolo in north-eastern Sardinia, just a few kilometres south of Olbia. It overlooks the imposing island of Tavolara, which is home to a marine protected area, and is approximately 700 metres from the beach and the ferry port to Tavolara.Porto San Paolo town centre offers all the essential amenities, including a supermarket, bank, tobacconist, newsstand, cashpoints, bars, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and a weekly market.

The reception of the Hotel Residence Porto San Paolo is on the ground floor.The hotel also has a dining room and a garden where breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style.

The swimming pool is located on the second floor of the hotel, on a panoramic terrace which also features a furnished, covered seating area. The pool offers magnificent views of Tavolara Island. Comfortable loungers are available for guests to use.
Guests can choose between rooms with breakfast or apartments with a kitchenette. The 37 rooms and studios can accommodate up to two adults and one infant, while the larger suites can accommodate up to four people and one infant.
Rooms with breakfast are bright and equipped with every comfort. Those on the first or second floor have a private balcony, while most ground floor rooms have a small garden or veranda with a table and chairs. All rooms have Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, a telephone, a safe, individually controlled air conditioning and heating, and a bathroom with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
The self-catering apartments have a small kitchenette equipped with an induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, pots and pans, plates, glasses, cups and cutlery. An electric kettle is also provided. Please note that kitchen towels and tablecloths are not included in the price.
Please leave the kitchenette clean at the end of your stay. The refrigerator must be completely emptied and cleaned.

"The location perfectly matches the description on the website: centrally located in town, about 500 meters from the sea, with a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, and bars in the immediate vicinity. The reception on the first day was very friendly. The public parking lot next to the hotel is particularly busy on weekends, but we always managed to find a space. The superior room pleasantly surprised us – it was spacious, clean, and tidy. The furnishings are simple and functional, which met our expectations. The air conditioning worked well, but it was noisy enough that we had to turn it off to sleep. Two minor issues we noticed, which we mention for the sake of completeness: The hand shower hose was very short – making it nearly impossible to wash our hair while standing. Also, there was only one small wastebasket in the bathroom. We didn't report either of these to reception – they could probably have been easily resolved. The daily room cleaning was consistently thorough and reliable. The rooftop pool matches the website description. What we missed, however, was the lack of parasols or other shade options in the sunbathing area. We were told that the wind conditions and the adjacent road didn't allow for the use of parasols. This is understandable – nevertheless, we believe that in 2026 there should be technical solutions that address this problem. For guests who occasionally seek shade, this is a noticeable drawback. Breakfast was a classic continental buffet – solid and without any significant flaws. The only downside was the traffic noise from the directly adjacent road, which was noticeable when eating breakfast outdoors. Regarding Porto San Paolo: We arrived on a weekend when a multi-day festival with a DJ, stage show, and rock band was taking place in the church square – a lively and atmospheric start. Aside from this event, however, the nightlife in Porto San Paolo was quite quiet. Anyone looking for a lively evening scene should factor this in beforehand. Conclusion: Overall, it was a pleasant vacation. The price-performance ratio is excellent, the location is perfect, and the collaboration with SardiniaNatour worked flawlessly. These points are suggestions, not complaints – and we would recommend the accommodation and your service."
