Torre delle Stelle in brief – tourist information and more

The small coastal community of Torre delle Stelle, also known as Maracalagonis, is located in southern Sardinia between the island metropolis of Cagliari and the well-known resort of Villasimius. The closest airport is Cagliari-Elmas, approximately 40 kilometers away. From the airport, you can take a taxi, rent a car, or use public transportation to reach Torre delle Stelle. By car, you can drive from Cagliari following the SS125 towards Villasimius, providing scenic coastal views.

Torre delle Stelle is ideal for a holiday away from the hustle and bustle and close to the sea. And not only in the summer months, but also in the off-season, for cyclists and motorcyclists who want to discover the great coastal roads in southern Sardinia. The Sette Fratelli Natural Park, located nearby, provides hiking trails through pristine nature.

Among the popular beaches are Genn’e Mari and Cann’e Sisa, providing an idyllic setting for relaxation, sunbathing, and enjoying the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Torre delle Stelle offers various water sports opportunities, including scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing. The clear waters make it an ideal destination for these activities.

During the summer months, Torre delle Stelle has a supermarket, a restaurant-pizzeria and, on the beach, a hire service of sun loungers and parasols. Other shops and services are available in Solanas (7 km), Villasimius (18 km) and of course Cagliari (45 km).
